The three-day Smart City Expo China 2017 opened in Ningbo, Zhejiang province on Sept 8 under the theme of "smart".

      This year's Smart City Expo China set up four main pavilions in Ningbo international convention and exhibition center.

      Over 300 enterprises attended the expo, including China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, Huawei, Baidu, Alibaba, Tencent, IBM and Siemens, displaying a variety of cutting-edge technologies, such as facial recognition systems and VR techniques.

      The exhibition is divided into multiple and specific areas exhibiting Ningbo's achievements on Smart City and Made in China 2025, as well as its solutions to problems such as urban management, environment, transportation and infrastructure.

      Visitors can experience the 3D smart health monitoring cabin to get physicals reports and forecast their potential diseases. It is more convenient and much safer than regular health checkups.

      Lion Dance Robots attracted the attention of all the people. Two robots imitated the moves of the humans. People can learn universality of industrial robots from combining traditional lion dance with smart robots.

      Alibaba's ET City Brain, the largest public artificial intelligence system in the world, was also showcased, as well as the "Smart Screen" which applies AR/VR technology from Zhejiang Unitech.
